It only felt like a few months ago I was putting together my last Mother’s Day Gift Guide, but here we are again 12 months later. Mother’s Day in 2023 falls on Sunday 19th March in the UK. In the US it is the 14th of May. Why are they different dates? Well, in the UK it always takes place on the fourth Sunday in Lent, so exactly three weeks before Easter Sunday. And in the US Mother’s Day is always on the second Sunday in May.
