Family Diary and Roundup – Spring 2023

The past few weeks have been crazy, April has sped by at 100 mph! It’s been a while since our last family diary roundup, but I’m trying my hardest to write them more regularly! Here is our roundup Spring 2023 with things we’ve done, tried and tested.

School Easter Holidays

At the start of the month was of course the school Easter holidays. L had an Easter tea party for her friends, it was a chaotic rainy Saturday afternoon with a bunch of 7 year olds running around!

Later in that first week, we had dentist checkups and Dottie’s eye appointment. I always try to get appointments arranged in the school holidays as a change of plan for Dottie coming out of school isn’t good for her.

We went to lots of National Trust places and our favourite The Lost Gardens of Heligan for Easter trails. The girls have so much fun on these trips!

And of course, our Dottie turned 5! We celebrated it on the weekend, instead of the first day back at school as that would have been a disaster with too much going on. I can’t believe my baby is 5!

Things We’ve Looked At and Tried

As part of Dottie’s present, we are going to decorate her room. She loves all things sensory, like indoor lights, colours, bubbles and touchy feeling things. Dinosaurs are her fav as well, so this light will be a great hit!

TheraTears

I do a lot of screenwork, so my eyes get really dry, especially if I’m tired. The past week I’ve been trying out TheraTears Screen Eyes Drops which I must say has been a huge help. My eyes are less gritty and feel refreshed!

TheraTears® is a new range of eye drops specifically formulated to help reduce the symptoms of eye strain with four pioneering products as shown in the image below.

  1. Decorating her room with sensory elements like indoor lights, vibrant colors, bubbles, and tactile objects will surely create a magical and stimulating environment for her. And with dinosaurs being her favorite, adding a dinosaur-themed light will be the cherry on top! It’s wonderful to see such personalized touches that cater to her interests and preferences. Dottie is going to absolutely love her new room makeover!
