Book Description
Little Mouse has a lot of things to do today … and he can do them all by himself!
It’s an exciting day for Little Mouse. His friend Pip is coming over to visit. But first, there are chores to do around the house, like cleaning, laundry, and cooking lunch. Little Mouse is determined to help Mummy Mouse with all of them. And after that — playtime!
The second picture book from well-loved Finnish author/illustrator Riikka Jäntti to feature Little Mouse — the small kid with the big personality — Little Mouse Helps Out is sure to become another read-aloud favourite.
Our Review
As you know from reading our other book reviews, baby girl is into her books at the moment. She loved Under The Love Umbrella with its bright illustrations, so looking at the cover of Little Mouse Helps Out we knew it would be illustrated differently but looking forward to it nonetheless.
We were pleasantly surprised at the fun little story of Little Mouse helping out his mummy before having his friend Pip round to play. I love how it can help you explain the importance of chores around the home to your little ones. Simple chores like cooking, cleaning and laundry are included.
It’s very well written and illustrated and a joy to read aloud to baby girl. It’s a wonderful hardcover book suitable for 0-4 years old, although the older the child the more interaction the story can provide.
