I bet when you were younger you were in love with the Care Bears as much as I was! Now I’m so happy to share the Care Bears with L! She was kindly sent an I Care Bear from Basic Fun UK. The wonderful I Care Bear reminds us how important it is to take care of the Earth. And today with it being Environmental Day 5th June we are here with our gorgeous I Care Bear ready to celebrate with you!

I Care Bear encourages us to recycle, reduce waste and walk and ride our bikes where we can. He’s always there to make sure his friends care for the environment. He really is a nature-loving bear in his gorgeous green/blue colours, soft and huggable and of course the perfect friend. There is no greater joy than keeping our Earth clean for generations to come.

Coming in at 14″ inches in size, the I Care Bear is ideal for hugs and going on adventures whatever the time of day! He has a wonderful embroidered rainbow badge on his tummy with one end being a heart and the other end the Earth. He has the cutest green heart nose and embroidered green hearts on both the bottoms of his feet. And he is made of recycled materials! Just like the custom made sustainable Swaggr socks that we received!

With the help of I Care Bear, we have been sorting out the recycling. We love sorting through the cardboard, paper, plastics, tins and bottles and putting them in the right bags and boxes.

I Care Bear helped us put a bug hotel in L’s wildflower garden which she has been watching grow since we sowed the seeds.

He has the cutest personality and totally lives up to his name. L has a friend for life with I Care Bear and he will always be there to remind her to take care of our Earth.

L has a teddy bear’s picnic at school next week and she can’t wait to take him in to show her friends and tell them about how he helps us to care for our planet.
You can buy your very own I Care Bear from Smyths Toys, all packaging was made from recycled materials – paper and suitable for recycling. They have even used eco-friendly ink made from soybeans!
