Father Christmas at Trerice 2026

This Christmas at Trerice, go along and listen to stories of Christmases past told by Father Christmas himself, see the house and barn dressed in traditional decorations, and enjoy festive performances from a selection of choirs.

It wouldn’t be Christmas without a visit from our old friend Father Christmas with his familiar white beard and robes of red. Visit the Drawing Room to hear tales and traditions of Christmas past with 30 minute sessions throughout the day. All children will go home with a gift.

Santa Returns to Trebah Garden

Nestled in the garden, Santa needs help tracking down his mischievous team of elves. There will be a chance to write a letter to Santa and post it straight to the North Pole, before stepping into the magical log cabin for a storytelling experience.

Once the storytelling is complete, there will be a photo opportunity, and a small gift for each child.

Storytelling times on the Santa Days are at 10am, 11am, 12 noon, 1:30pm and 2:30pm.

Tea With The Elves at Newquay Zoo

Father Christmas visits The Lost Gardens of Heligan

You and your family will be welcomed to the exclusive Festive Reserve Yard within The Gardens, where you will start to prepare for your special visit. Here the Team will ensure you get into the Christmas spirit, with music, Christmas crackers, and festive crafts, and don’t forget your complimentary toasted marshmallows to toast over the warming fire. As anticipation builds you will be escorted by The Head elf to meet Father Christmas in the magical cosy setting of the Head Gardeners Office.

Each child will be gifted a small traditional children’s present to remember their visit to Father Christmas by, along with Christmas magic and tradition that reconnects you to the heart and true meaning of Christmas.

Festive Fun Day and Father Christmas at Wheal Martyn

Meet Father Christmas at The Eden Project

Father Christmas and his team of industrious Elves have set up camp at the Eden Project and are making their final preparations for Christmas. This immersive experience is full of wonder, games and fun for the whole family.

You’re invited to step into their enchanting log cabin for an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at where the Christmas magic happens.

As part of this unforgettable 40-minute experience, each child will be given the chance to meet Father Christmas and leave with a precious gift to take home. 

Get ready for a theatrical new experience guaranteed to delight the whole family. Meet the man in red along with his elves, whilst they are visiting us this season. But you need to be quick – limited spaces are available.

Christmas at Lappa Valley

All aboard for the most festive start to your Christmas in 2026. Savour the magic of Cornwall’s Secret World of Play and Trains at Christmas time. Meet Father Christmas in his very special grotto, where a present awaits for the children!

Meet Santa & His Reindeer at Gwel an Mor

Santa and his reindeer cannot wait to meet you in his cosy grotto at Gwel an Mor. He will be stopping by Feadon Farm in the lead up to the busiest night of the year along with some of his elves and of course – his reindeer. There will be lots of photo opportunities with both Santa and the reindeer in their stable.

Storytime With Santa 0-4 Years

Santa’s taking some time out of his busy schedule to have a little sit down with some of our younger visitors. Join him in the Yurt here at Gwel an Mor, by a cosy fire, as he reads a Christmassy story to a group of youngsters.

There will be lots of photo opportunities available with both Santa in the Yurt and the reindeer in their stable.

Your ticket includes:

  • Listening to Santa read a Christmassy story
  • Getting your picture taken with Santa (and receiving an early Christmas gift – if you’ve been good!)
  • Meeting the reindeer and photo opportunities on Santa’s sleigh

An Audience With Father Christmas at Trelissick

Father Christmas returns to the stable yard this December where he’ll tell a special story of a Cornish Christmas at Trelissick. Once the storytelling has finished he’ll hand out a small gift at the end to each child.

Storytelling starts promptly at 10.15 am, 11 am, 11.45 am, 12.30 pm, 2 pm, 2.45 pm and 3.30 pm. On 19, 20 and 23 December there will also be storytelling sessions at 4.15 pm.

Trelissick is open 10 am-4.30 pm during December, if you book an afternoon session you may want to arrive earlier to enjoy the full range of Christmas festivities. These will include the house decorated for Christmas (Trelissick house closes at 4 pm), activities and games in the stable yard, a Christmas trail through the garden and carol singing in the stable yard on select dates.

An audience with Father Christmas is always incredibly popular and pre-booking is essential. We cannot guarantee admission after a storytelling session has started – please allow plenty of time to get to Trelissick and check in with your ticket to avoid disappointment.

All adults attending An Audience with Father Christmas are required to have an adult ticket.

Please take note that normal admission charges to Trelissick apply, with free admission to National Trust members, and that assistance dogs only are able to attend. We are unable to process refunds.

Falmouth Fire Station’s Christmas Grotto

Falmouth Fire Station is set to transform into a festive wonderland as it hosts a magical Drive-Through Christmas Grotto. This unique event promises to bring joy and festive spirit to the community, all while supporting a noble cause.

Santa Claus himself is flying in specially to hand out small gifts to the little ones and wish them a very merry Christmas. Families can drive through the beautifully decorated station grounds, experiencing the enchanting sights and sounds of Christmas, all from the comfort of their cars.

This festive event aims to raise funds for The Firefighters Charity, supporting the brave men and women who dedicate their lives to keeping our community safe. Attendees are encouraged to contribute to this worthy cause, ensuring that the spirit of giving extends beyond the festive season.

Santa by Steam at Bodmin and Wenford Railway

Join them for their Santa By Steam 2026 as you ride the train with Santa and his elves.

Ride the train with Santa and his elves, as he walks through the coaches, gifting each child a present with the help of his elves.  Complete your activity sheet and take a look in our crafting coach.  Enjoy a Christmas tipple at our new station bar.

Each child will receive a plush toy gift. 

These tickets include a return journey to Bodmin Parkway. Seats are allocated in groups of four. Please note you may be sitting with other singles, couples, families if you are not in multiples of four.

Board the train this Christmas for Storytime with Santa. 

Find your allocated seats, where your gifted book from Santa will be waiting for you. Drink your hot chocolate, eat your cookie, and read along as Santa tells his Christmas story. 

Afterwards, Santa will walk through the train, collecting everyone’s lists and speaking to the children individually.

Arrive at Bodmin General at 16:30 to board the carriages at 17:00. You will be onboard the carriages for an hour, and the station will remain open until 19:00 to allow you to enjoy the atmosphere.

Each ticket includes a hot chocolate & cookie. Child tickets include the Santa Special book. 

Please note that in this event, the train will be stationary, remaining in the station for the duration of the event.

Please note that we do not allow dogs onto our Santa events due to a busier than usual platform.

Each child will get to build their very own festive soft toy to take home, meet Santa Claus and take part in storytelling and family-friendly activities  

You’ll start with a tasty breakfast before your little ones are gifted their special toy from Santa and then encouraged by him to fluff, stuff and name their toy to take home

Please note: create your own festive soft toy is only suitable for over 3s, Santa will provide under 3s with their own pre-made soft toy and will play some games with them so they can still join in the experience

    I am emailing at Par Market. We are also doing Santa with 2 elves, with a free present. We are charging £3 per child. And the dates of which he is coming is today, tomorrow, as well as the 4th, 5th, 8th, 15th, & the 22nd of December.
