During the rainy days we have been having great fun with this Brik Buster game. As it says on the box its huge amounts of fun for all ages from 3-93! They are totally correct as well. I’ve always loved to build, whether that be with baby blocks or bricks from other leading brands. This Brik Buster game doesn’t disappoint. The Original Brik Buster by Strictly Briks was designed by kids as a unique tower toppling game that’s fun for the whole family. Great for family game nights in.
How to play the toppling tower game
There are 120 stacker briks, 12 base plate platforms and one hammer. (It is compatible with all major brands with large pegs)
- Create a tower 5 stories high – place two platforms side by side to form your base. To make each level, stack 4 columns of 4 stackers tall on the corners of the platforms. Then 2 columns between the corners.
- Bust out the briks – Each player takes turns hitting the support pieces with the hammer. Trying to NOT make the tower fall. The last person to knock out a brik without toppling the tower wins!
- Play again – play best of three, or create your own version of the game. You can head over to StrictlyBriks.com/BrickBuster for more info, games and videos
What we thought
We absolutely love this game. We do have to make sure we get the hammer away from the toddler after we have finished the game, due to her last accident with a toy hammer and the TV screen! It makes us all laugh, highly addictive and builds fun family memories.
One fantastic point is that the pieces are interchangeable with other leading brick brands. The base platforms are huge with this Brick Buster game, so ideal for use as bases for building games. Again great for playing by oneself.
The brik’s are lovely bright colours, so we have been learning colours with them. Plus using the small stacker brik’s for counting games. My only negative point is that it doesn’t come with a container to keep all the 133 pieces in. I have had to find a container for the pieces to avoid them getting lost. Also I don’t like to step on them!
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you have enjoyed this post,
