The next few months sparks off birthday cards season in our family. We have 3 in June, 3 in July and more in September. Unfortunately not all family members live close by. In fact my older sister lives over thousands of miles away in Canada so sometimes sending her a birthday card by post can take time and it’s also not the cheapest.
I love to find different ways to send cards, gifts and other tokens to my family. So when I discovered Paperless Post it got me really excited. Online cards! What a wonderful idea of not only helping to save on trees but you are also giving a wonderful little something to a loved one. They also have printed cards available if you still want to send a birthday card in the traditional way.
The great thing about Paperless Post is that you can tailor your card to the way you want it to look. Upload a favourite photo, change the colours of the card around and the text as well. There are many different designs to tinker with on the website. Including some really well-known designers have included their input on card designs. Plus if you are not only looking for birthday cards they do a wide range for all occasions including wedding invites and baby showers and many more milestones in life.
Nowadays everything is becoming more and more online. The first thing I do in the morning is take a look at my email inbox. To be honest I rarely get post anymore through the letterbox, even bills are now online! I know my sister over in Canada is very tech minded and loves all the online stationery you can send. So a surprise birthday card in her inbox on her birthday will be a fantastic gesture seeing I won’t be able to see her on her birthday this year.
Have you ever sent an online birthday card? Is it something you would do?
Thanks for stopping by, as always I love to read your thoughts.
