Today I’m on the blog tour for Hell to Pay by Rachel Amphlett. You may remember a few weeks back I was involved with the cover reveal for Hell to Pay. This time I have an interview from Rachel herself on what motivates her.
Read on to hear what Rachel says.
Today I’m happy to be on the blog tour for Wilde in Love by Eloisa James. The first book in a new series set in the Georgian Period. Before we get to my review here is a little bit about Wilde in Love.
The first book in Eloisa James’s dazzling new series set in the Georgian period glows with her trademark wit and sexy charm-and introduces a large, eccentric family. Things are about to get Wilde . . .
Lord Alaric Wilde, son of the Duke of Lindow, is the most celebrated man in England, revered for his dangerous adventures and rakish good looks.
Earlier in the year we were lucky enough to review Little Mouse Helps Out. Now Riikka Jantti is back with Little Mouse’s Christmas. Perfect for the festive season coming upon us.
Little Mouse has a long time to wait for Christmas! Luckily he has lots of things to do to get ready!
It’s almost Christmas and Little Mouse is looking forward to celebrating with Mummy Mouse and Grandpa and Grandma Mouse. But Christmas Eve feels very far away and Little Mouse is very impatient!
Fortunately there are all kinds of things for Little Mouse to do, like cooking gingerbread and choosing just the right Christmas tree.
The curious and lively toddler Little Mouse is back in this beautifully Scandinavian Christmas story by Finnish author/illustrator Riikka Jäntti.
Random thing about me ~ When I was a teenager I worked at Woolworths until I got made redundant when they went into administration. It was the end of an era. As a kid I would pop into my local Woolies on a Saturday and get the latest single on cassette and pick up a tub of pic ‘n’ mix. Those were the best days!
Anyway back to the point. I have just finished reading Christmas at Woolworths by Elaine Everest. You may remember I read The Butlins Girls by Elaine back in the Summer. Which was fantastic by the way!
So I’m extremely happy to be on the blog tour today with Christmas at Woolworths. As usual before you get to my review I want to tell you a little about this book.
Today on the blog I have a guest post from the lovely Andrew Joyce. You may remember his guest post from last year on what it takes to properly research a book before writing. This time Andrew shares with us one of his short stories from his latest book.
Over to you Andrew…
What you are about to read is one of the stories from my book, Bedtime Stories for Grown-Ups, a collection of short stories that are a mixture of fiction and non-fiction. My hitching adventures are true. The Danny narratives are also true, but written from a perspective different from mine. The fiction stories are a jumble of genres.
There are a whole lotta stories in the book—700 pages worth. Enough to keep you reading for the foreseeable future.
Today it’s my turn to be on the blog tour for The Country Set by Fiona Walker. If you are Jilly Cooper fans you will enjoy this one for sure!
Before you can read my review, here is a little about The Country Set. Plus at the end of this post you have the chance to win a copy for yourself.
