What I Thought

Ahh, this is a good un’! Edgy, creepy, twists, secrets, nosy neighbours the whole lot!

The Liar Next Door focuses on 3 friends who all live in the same cul-de-sac. Frankie, Celeste and Saylor, and it’s told from their point of view. I think the characters are very engaging, the plot is brilliant and you honestly won’t know the truth from the lies! It’s one of those twisty thrillers you think you know, but you don’t! It’s intense! I loved it!

The blurb is good and you might be thinking it’s a missing child thriller, but it’s more than that. You are taken on a ride of deception, adultery, exes, greed, resentment, and blackmail. Frankie is a lifestyle vlogger with the so-called picture-perfect life, Saylor is expecting her first baby and Celeste is a single mum running from the past. You are in for a treat reading how their lives intertwine!
