*The Ultimate Blogger Wishlist is a collaborative post
OK, so Christmas is now over and we are starting a new year, you may not have got what you wanted for Christmas, but if you have received money, here are a few things you may wish to get for yourself. Or a fellow blogger! So I’ve compiled the ultimate blogger wishlist.
As bloggers, we are always on the lookout for new props, equipment, books, and stationery. All of this helps us to do our job. Of course, everyone has a budget and you could spend a fortune on cameras, tripods, and accessories, therefore I won’t go into a huge amount of details. But I will share the ultimate blogger gifts and those on all our wishlists.
Starting with backdrops. These waterproof 100% wrinkle-free, resistant glare backdrops are ideal to get you started with a more professional look for your photos. I find a good professional backdrop worth its weight in gold. You can keep your photographs on-brand with your style.
I think one of the most important tools for a blogger is a planner. You will need one to plan your week, use as an editorial calendar for the month and to set your goals. I recently reviewed The Perfect Parent Planner which not only can I use for blogging, but also for the family.
Over the years I’ve used many different planners including The Epic Blog Planner, Stick to Stigu (unfortunately these are not made anymore), Busy B and the Personal Planner. I’m sure you will find your planner suitable for your own needs.
I had a couple of new books for Christmas – The Freelance Mum and Hashtag Authentic which I can’t wait to get stuck into. I believe that you should be always be learning and improving your knowledge in your area, so by reading books like these you are improving and investing in yourself.
Other books in my library include Blogging Your Way To Riches, Million Dollar Blog, PR School, and Blogs Change Lives.
The new year is always a good time for a blog refresh, a new theme can do this for you and keep your blog updated. Last year I changed my theme to one by Angie Makes. There are many out there to choose from.
One thing I’m going to invest in for 2020 is a lightbox. I’m hoping it will help my photos look more professional, especially when the daylight is pretty rubbish in the Winter.
Cameras and photography is my weakest point when it comes to blogging. But these cameras are at the top of every blogger wishlist, so it seems apt to end with this.
- Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II
A powerful pocket-sized camera with a bright lens, large sensor and DIGIC 7 to capture expert quality photos and movies with ease.
- Olympus Pen
A beautiful camera for breathtaking photos. Discover a new way of photography with the Olympus PEN E-PL9 and easily send your best pictures via Wi-Fi to your smartphone so you can share them on-line and with friends.
- Nikon D7500
The D7500 delivers crisp, high-definition images with rich tonal gradations. You’ll enjoy phenomenally accurate subject recognition and superior performance at high ISOs.
What would be on your blogger wishlist?
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you’ve enjoyed this post.
