My Review

The Country Set is a really long book, 870 pages in fact. But it’s perfect for a cosy night in. There are lots of characters to get your head around, but after a few chapters in I got the hang of it. There are heroes and heroines, horses, secrets, love and much more.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, but it does take some perseverance at the beginning. Please do stick with it as it’s very rewarding.

Fiona Walker is a great writer with imagination. If you love the country scene this is for you.

  19. My favourite book that I have read more times than any other is The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy by the late great and sadly missed Douglas Adams. It is guaranteed to make me laugh every time

  21. I never read books over and over again – why would I when there are so many out there waiting to be read? And at any given time my favourite is the one I’ve most recently enjoyed, which currently is Fatherland by Karen Schur-Narula
