We are always looking for creative activities to do over the school holidays. It keeps our brain active, is great fun, and lessens the amount of screen time, and what better activity to try than modelling with Plasticine! We received some great items from Plasticine to enable us to think up and create some Easter models – have a look below to see what we made and maybe you can give them a try as well! What We Received
Plasticine is suitable for ages 5+. It’s been loved for many years for its soft texture and non-hardening characteristics.
Plasticine Tower Blox
We love the Plasticine Tower Blox pack. It contains 10 colours, in 10 tubs, 10 cutters in various animal shapes, 2 modelling tools, 1 roller, 1 playmat, and an instruction sheet with ideas.
Plasticine Toolz
The *Plasticine Toolz kit is fantastic! The tool box contains everything you need to make your Plasticine models and a great place to store your tools after. It will also hold more tools from other packs. In this tool kit you get 4 shaped cutters, 1 modelling tool, 1 roller as well as 6 colours of plasticine.
Plasticine Fluro
This pack reminded me of the Plasticine I used to play with as a kid, with its wavy shape. You get 9 neon colours and 1 modelling tool. Also included is an ideas sheet to get you started on what models you wish to make. Hours of fun to be had!

What We Created With Plasticine For Easter!
L had the idea of creating an Easter scene with the Plasticine. She wanted to make lots of different Easter-related items, for example, hot cross buns, Easter eggs, daffodils, chicks, carrots, etc.
We spent a good few hours having so much fun creating this last weekend. Then we got a message from the school asking children if they want to bring in their Easter crafts for a competition. L wanted to take in her Plasticine Easter scene to show her friends, so she carried it the whole way to school. I could hear her friends saying how cool it was as she walked in and how she had so much fun making the tree and the flowers!
