The Benefits of Buying a 2 Berth Bailey of Bristol Motorhome For Future Adventures in Cornwall

*AD – sponsored by Bailey of Bristol

I feel really lucky to live in one of the most beautiful places in the country, Cornwall. I’ve lived here all my life, but there are still many places yet to explore. With many campsites dotted about the county a great way to go exploring around Cornwall is with caravans and motorhomes. In particular, I love the look of the 2 berth Bailey of Bristol motorhomes. Of course with current coronavirus restrictions in place, travel is not possible at the moment, but when they are lifted, there is no better way to travel and stay in your own space.

Explore Cornwall in a Motorhome

In fact here are 3 reasons why you need to explore Cornwall in a motorhome to get you started with your travel plans!

  • Over 400 miles of coastline to explore – The county of Cornwall is a peninsula. Did you know that no inland area is more than 20 miles from the sea? With many miles and miles of beautiful scenic views to look at a motorhome is perfect. Travel around the county in style.
  • Not confined to one area – Cornwall is a long county with many places you need to see. With a motorhome, you can be in a different area each night of your holiday. Tintagel one night and Marazion the next!
  • Campsites – There are quite a few campsites around Cornwall, so you have your overnight base that’s safe and secure and with additional facilities available if you require. Camping with your motorhome is perfect to get in touch with nature and you can come and go when you please.

Why choose a 2 berth Bailey of Bristol Motorhome?

Going back to the 2 berth Bailey of Bristol motorhome, here is why we think they are a fantastic choice for your motorhome holidays. Remember when you are considering your options when buying a motorhome, you need to consider the berth and travel seats you need separately. The berth is the number of people the vehicle can sleep and travel seats are the number of places people can safely and legally sit while travelling.

All Bailey motorhomes offer comfort and style. Due to their smaller size the 2 berth are great for solo travel or a couple. One great feature is due to their compact stature they have a MTPLM of 3500kg, meaning anybody holding a full UK driving licence can drive the 2 berth vehicles found in the Alliance Silver Edition and Autograph ranges without needing the Class C1 entitlement.

In the 2 berth Bailey of Bristol motorhome range you have the Autograph, and Alliance Silver Edition ranges. Each has its own unique features. As an example, the Autograph 69-2 has a larger 134 litre fridge compared to the 95 litres in the Alliance Silver Edition 66-2. A larger fridge is needed for the cold drinks for the beautiful Cornish Summer evenings. There is a cool Dometic reversing camera in the Autograph which you will more than likely need to drive the narrow Cornish lanes! One feature I would totally recommend is adding on a bike rack. With so many trails, including coastal and mining trails to ride along in Cornwall it’s an opportunity not to be missed!

Due to the current lockdown situation, it’s hard not going to see your dream motorhome, but you can head over to Bailey of Bristol’s Virtual Showroom where you can take a 360º tour of the vehicles right now! You can take a virtual tour of all the motorhomes available on the Motorhome Virtual Showroom. Don’t worry if Motorhomes aren’t your thing as Bailey also manufactures caravans and there is a Virtual Caravan Showroom.

Alu-Tech construction

When travelling away from home, the reliability and safety of your vehicle are of the utmost importance even more so if you have your children with you. The bodyshell of the current Bailey motorhome ranges are built using Alu-Tech construction. This means that the body shell of your motorhome is made with a unique interlocking aluminium framework to clamp the body panels, laminated in an impact resistant GRP skin together. The shell is now so much more robust and durable, perfect for protecting you against the elements. Like the coastal Cornish rain and wind! The design and materials used means that you are warm in the winter and cool in the summer, as well as making your vehicle more economical to own.
