My two-year old is a fan of stuffed teddies and toys, I expect the new baby will be as well. So when we received the new crochet Meegos series 1 soft toys to look at I knew they would be become a firm favourite in our house. The Meegos are hand crocheted and there are many to collect. Including limited editions – watch out for them!
There are 6 different 5″ Meegos dogs to collect and 12 mini 2″ Meegos pups. You can match the Meegos with their minis to fill the family tree and uncover all their personalities at mymeegos.com. Also on the website there are lots of fun activities to play and do. Plus you can get your own adoption certificate for your Meegos. Discover the fantastic new world of Meegotopia!
The larger Meegos we received is called Poco and 3 mini Meegos in their boxes. The one thing I loved about the mini Meegos was that they were blind-boxed so they’re a complete surprise to whoever opens them! Designed for ages 0+ I know they will be loved by all.
I’m always interested in where products are made and the crocheted Meegos are each handmade in Bangladesh through a workers co-operative. It’s making a fantastic difference in over 200 villages by bringing sustainable, regular and flexible employment. Each 5″ Meegos character takes 5 hours to make and the mini Meegos take 1.2 hours. It’s amazing to hear that the first order of Meegos created over 4000 jobs for women.
It’s lovely to see that each Meegos character is beautifully made. You can tell that care has been taken with each stitch. They are cuddly and cute, making a great friend for your children.
This range of Meegos went on sale 12th April and are available at Sainsbury’s, Debenhams, Selfridges and John Lewis.
5″ Meegos – £12.99
2″ Mini Meegos – £6.99
