We are huge fans of dantoy, they are a fantastic brand that develops and produces quality toys in Denmark for over 50 years. The bioplastic is made from a minimum of 90% sugar cane (ethanol). The ethanol is extracted from sugarcane, which is a form of alcohol. Ethanol is then used to produce bioplastic. Our Thoughts
They love this car and garage set. It’s ideal for inside and outside play. You can even pop it in the dishwasher to give it a clean! All the dantoy products are approved for contact with food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
I love to teach the girls to be respectful of our environment and one way is by explaining about recycling, products made from sustainable sources and how important it is to care for our planet. The bioplastic range is a great talking point for discussing how toys like this are made from sustainable sources.
There is no waste at all with the packaging. It’s recycled cardboard which even has pop-out figures you can assemble and play with which is great for practising those fine motor skills.
