Welcome back to our little weekly round-up of Living Arrows 9/53 (2018). I’m enjoying getting into the routine of sharing a little bit of our life and how my gorgeous 2 year old is growing away so fast!

The idea behind Living Arrows is to celebrate childhood. It’s name is taken from a poem by Kahlil Gibran,
“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
It’s been another cold week. Unlike the rest of the country snow has yet to appear – as of the time of writing this! When I haven’t been at work we have been doing lots of drawing, reading and sticker books. At 2 years old she is very good at holding a pen/pencil. My mum has taught her to draw circles!
Only this morning she said the phrase to me ” Did you hear that mumma?” I said “yes it was a dog” She heard a dog barking outside! I can’t believe how fast she is learning phrases and putting words together. I find it mind boggling, she really is a sponge!
