The lovely Boolino books have sent us this fantastic little book to review. The Great Farty Slob Beast is great fun and a book I’m sure all children will love. Written by Charlie Farley (love the name!!) and illustrated by Joe Barleymow.
Book Description
‘Bored children get monsters to play with, not Dad.’ So begins this riotous, rhyming adventure as The Great Farty Slob Beast threatens to gobble up Molly and her two little sisters. Will Molly’s plan to distract the Slob Beast with a hilarious day-trip to London be enough to stop his greedy plans?
Our Review
Baby girl is really into her books at the moment. She looks at the pages and loves to flip through them.
The Great Farty Slob Beast is a beautiful rhyming book with amazing illustrations. I love how the text changed in size and moved across the page as you read through. Following the illustrations as the words flow. It’s really clever.
It’s an enjoyable kids’ book for the younger age range, and one they will want you to read over and over again!
The Great Farty Slob Beast is mainly suited to 3-6-year-olds, but we have enjoyed reading it though and it will stay on our bookshelf as one of our favourites.

Hey Rachel – thanks for the review from you and baby girl! Keep blogging!
