My daughter is very much into all kinds of crafts, she loves to make “things” from anything she finds lying around. So I knew she would be extremely excited to show what she could create with Pom Pops.
If you haven’t heard of Pom Pops it’s a whole new concept that lets kids enjoy a tactile unboxing experience that is like none other! They will discover surprise materials and toys as they dig through the massive amount of mini pom poms! These pom poms will allow them to make fresh popped creations!

Pom Pops
Pom Pops are packaged to look like a carton of popcorn and in each carton there are 1014 pieces! Including 1000 pom poms! You get toy surprises, stickers, a variety of different sized pom poms, an activity booklet, design templates, glue, and your tool to pick up the mini pom poms. There are 3 themed Pom Pop packs available which are the unicorn, mermaid and llama. You will also get DIY activities to do, including creating your own pom pom keyring, hair accessories, and bracelets! With over 100 different toy surprise options, so you never know what toys you’ll find!

What We Thought
There are so many creative ideas you can do with just Over 100 different toy surprise options, so you never know what toys you’ll find in one Pom Pop popcorn carton. The pack comes with an excellent activity book to give you some ideas of what to decorate with your pom poms.
We received, 8 blind bags ours contained glue, tweezers, a keyring to decorate, a scrunchie to fill, a fidget toy, washi tape, a necklace, and a ring.
I love the way that the popcorn packaging is fully used for your decorating projects. On the inside, you have 4 templates to cut out and use. Nothing is wasted.

There are plenty of pom poms for many projects of your own. We have loads left over for future DIY crafts like garlands, party decorations and homemade gifts! The sky is the limit of what you can create!

L wanted to decorate the cover of my planner. So she cut out one of the templates from inside the popcorn carton and using the glue, tweezers and mini pom poms created a heart decoration which she glued to the front of my planner.

She is enjoying creating her own Pom Pops hair scrunchie and a keyring for her school bag.

I think Pom Pops has excellent play value and great value for money considering what you get in the carton. It’s ideal for keeping children entertained over the school holidays for many days! As a parent of a child who loves to be kept busy and is into her crafting, Pom Pops is a highly recommended toy as it can be self-led for her. The instructions are simple, the pack contains lots of activities and she isn’t just looking at a blank piece of paper thinking about what to create with a pile of pom poms!
