It’s coming up to two years since I left my employed job where I was on my feet all day. And now I’m sitting down while I work from home! It’s made a huge difference from being active to not, during the day. My posture and fitness levels plus my weight need some attention! One way I can not lose my productive working time, but also keep active is by using the Cycle Desk Bike V9 Pro. I was kindly sent the desk bike from FlexiSpot to try and give my thoughts.

Ergonomic Exercise Bike

I’m all for burning calories while I’m working away on my laptop, it’s like doing two things at once! As a busy mum of two, it’s a great time-saving idea to have one of these desk exercise bikes. The Cycle Desk Bike V9 Pro is part standing desk and part exercise bike. It has pneumatic levers for the seat and desk so you can have it at the heights you desire really easily. This makes it very comfortable to use and easy to set up for your working day.

Features

There is an easy to read integrated digital display, which shows readouts for workout time, calories burned and your speed. You will need to insert 2 AA batteries which are not included. There is a nonslip rubber panel that you can place over the battery pack to use as your drinks holder. A great and useful feature!

There are 8 resistance levels for the bike, so depending on how hard you want to push yourself, determines your bike workout. I’m happy with a 2 until I get my fitness up!

The lockable gravity casters are a handy feature, especially if you are on a slippy floor. They also lock into place to keep it from moving for safety when you are peddling on the desk bike. And I have to mention the soft comfy seat. It’s designed with comfort and ease in mind for those hours at the computer! The desk is spacious with plenty of room for your laptop and notebook. The armrest on the desk is soft and again comfortable for long-term use. It is adjustable to bring closer to you, or move further away, as well as moving up or down for standing or sitting use.

Overall Thoughts

I absolutely love it! It’s a perfect size, I’m 5ft 7inches tall and find it very comfortable to use while working. The bike is very silent so no noise while you are cycling. It’s adjustable to accommodate a range of heights from 5’1″ and 6’2″, taking up to 136kg in weight. This desk bike is perfect for working from home. I don’t feel guilty for sitting on my backside all morning anymore working, as I’m getting in the exercise as well, therefore burning up the calories! It’s a sturdy machine and folds away for easy storage, while not in use and is really going to change my work from home life. I will spend the last year of my 30s getting fitting and this is helping me on the way! Highly recommended!
