The first day that your child attends preschool can be very tough on both the children and parents. It will likely be the first time that you and your child have been away from each other for a daily set period of time, and it can be just as nerve-wracking for a parent as it is for the child. However uncomfortable this feeling may seem, it is something that parents and children must get used to as a daily routine, and one that will continue through the years.
We’ve put together this brief guide so that you can know what to expect on the first day that your child attends preschool to help try and alleviate some of the anxieties. It helps to be prepared as much as possible for this day ahead before sending your child to preschool day care in Brisbane or in your local area.
When I was at school, one of my favourite books was The Very Hungry Caterpillar. It was one of those books I still remember today. I haven’t yet got a copy for baby girl but when we were sent The Very Hungry Caterpillar 4-in-1 Games Box to review from Paul Lamond Games , I thought it’s the perfect time to get her interested in one of my childhood books.
As soon as the Games box arrived she just picked it up and inquisitively started rattling it and carrying it around with its useful yellow handle.
We were very excited when this mystery package arrived though our door last week from The Happy Book Club. They are a book subscription service with a ‘twist’ for pre-schoolers and young children.
But before we delve inside our package here is a little about The Happy Book Club.
The Happy Book Club supplies books through your door every month for your little ones. They tailer design packages for ages 0-2, 2-4 or 5-7. Each month the package will contain 2 wonderful books, and a craft or activity based round that months theme.
Yes that’s the marvellous thing about this book subscription, is that each month they have different theme. Also provided is an information sheet about the books, and details of that month’s charity that The Happy Book Club is donating to.
