I love this view so much that I had to add a black and white photo to the post as well to show you the stunning scenery. The colour photo shows the sea in the background which is harder to make out in the black and white photo.
You wouldn’t believe it but I was standing in the entrance of a cemetery to take these photos, so as you can imagine there was a beautiful calmness and serene atmosphere in this spot.
Carrying on with my Canadian themed #MySundayPhoto from the previous few weeks, I wanted to show you this beautiful lift lock in Peterborough, Ontario. Peterborough is situated on the Otonabee river in cental Ontario.
We were lucky enough to travel up the lift lock on a little ferry boat, on a really gorgeous summer’s day.
While we were in Canada nearly 5 years ago, we came across a little pioneer village, that was free to enter. It made a lovely day out for us as there was lots of things to do and demonstrations to watch.
This is one of my favourite photo’s of the quaint little wooden houses that were there. It was a beautiful hot summer’s day.
