For My Sunday Photo I have chosen a photo of baby girl who turned 7 months this week. I cannot comprehend where those 7 months have gone. She is growing day by day and changing all the time. It seems every time I have turned my back she has done something different. Only this week she has learnt to sit herself back up from lying on her tummy.
Oh and is virtually on the edge of crawling. She gets herself up feet ready to go on all fours, but her arms let her down! She can’t seem to be able to crawl forwards. Backwards is fine though!
Happy Sunday! This week’s My Sunday Photo is of Truro cathedral which is in the town I live in. I took this photo yesterday when the weather wasn’t the best. As you can see from the steeple there is mist partially covering it.
On Thursday we had a visit at the cathedral from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. People were queuing from 7am to meet them. I would have loved to popped down, but I thought it would have been too busy with a 7 month old.
On Friday we went to our last Baby Sensory class of the Summer term. Baby girl has loved going to her classes since the start of June. I feel they have benefited her greatly. This last class had the theme of Baby Frog. It was so much fun as you can see from My Sunday Photo below.
The light show that was put on was amazing. Our class leader Mel does such a wonderful job setting everything up. She really deserves a medal for all her hard work and dedication to all the babies.
Yesterday we had a walk around our local Farmer’s market in Truro, and this week they had a marquee as extra with lots of Cornish companies inside. For My Sunday Photo this week I decided to show you the cute and quirky coasters we bought from the Cornish Bird in the Sticks
How funky are these?
There were so many designs to choose from and many were designed with local landmarks in mind and easily distinguishable to me.
I’m a huge lover of flowers so you will find many of my Sunday photos will be of some type of flower I have found on my travels. This week is pink roses.
The pink roses are from my dad’s garden. They have lasted really well but are on their last legs and have the most gorgeous smell. Nature at it’s best.
It’s not a bad photo taken with my iPhone 4s if I say so myself, but I can’t wait to get a newer phone with a better camera. I need to wait until September to change my phone now as I’m changing networks. My current network seems very expensive to what I’ve found. It’s not too long to wait!
I you are all having a great weekend and hopefully have some sun where you are.
This week we spent some time away. A day in Scarborough and some time in Derbyshire.
While we were up in Derbyshire I had to go to Bakewell. We always go there as it’s just a gorgeous place.
A few years back people started putting love locks on the bridge there. My husband and I put a lock on there as well but there are thousands on there now and we could never find it again. But I love to know it’s on there somewhere.
