Therefore, you need to make sure it’s something that your kid will love for that price! Here are a few top ideas for your child’s birthday party that you need to see.

Take the kids swimming

If you have a swimming pool close by your home, you should think about organising the birthday party there. Swimming is a fun activity that the kids can all do at the same time. They will have so much fun splashing around in the pool for an hour or two. For larger parties, you might even want to hire the pool. You could even arrange for the centre to provide food and drinks for the kids after they have been in the pool. That way, it saves everyone coming back to your home after swimming! With swimming, it’s best to invite the parents along as you will struggle to keep an eye on all the children at once!

The Enchanted Ball Game Review

Our second game from Megableu to review is The Enchanted Ball. The girly side in me decided to choose this game for us to have a look at. The idea of dancing with your prince is just like something from a fairytale.

Oh if you want to see our other game review from Megableu it’s just here: Ultimate Spider-Man.

The Enchanted Ball from Megableu

The object of the game is to be the first to gain 4 coloured stars and be the star dancer. They have to be the stars of the colour dress, from which ever princess was chosen. The game is for 2-4 players from 5 years old and up.

What I’ve been Reading this Last Week

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve had a few spare ‘rare’ moments where I’ve picked up a book and a novella for reading. When I was asked if I wanted to review Let Them Eat Dirt by B Brett Finlay and Marie-Claire Arrieta, it was not a book I could turn down. I have always been interested in Science especially diseases, microbes and health since my biology teacher at school introduced me to cells! I do think in another lifetime I would have entered a career in the Science field. As a matter of fact it was only a couple of years ago that I had to stop doing my Open University degree in the Sciences due to limiting funds.

I have also been catching up on a little novella by Australian author Bridgett Leslie called Twelve Bells. If you love reading as much as I do but have limited time, novella’s are wonderful short stories that are perfect to fill a little gap.

Our day out at Malpas with Aldi

We love to go out for walks and have a day out around our favourite place Malpas, Truro down here in Cornwall. So when we were invited to take part with the Aldi #MamiaDaysOut challenge we knew exactly where we were going to go for a little picnic.

On Friday the sun was shining and the blue sky was out so we decided to go for a little picnic before our Baby Sensory class. Although it was fairly cold, well I suppose it is Autumn, it was a gorgeous day.
