Baby girl has a new fascination with ponies. Getting the chance to review one of the Zoomer Zupps Pretty Ponies has come at the right time for us. There are six Pretty Ponies in the series one collection. We got ‘Lilac’ to try out. The others are ‘Dixie’, ‘Electra’, ‘Nova’, ‘Star’ and ‘Sugar’.
I love shopping haul challenges. When I was given the chance to head over to the PoundToy website with a £50 voucher to spend on their website I was eager to see what I could get for my money. I know the website is called PoundToy, but don’t let this confuse you. Of course some toys are £1 and even less, but most are over £1. The prices are still rock bottom though, and very competitive with high street and other online toy stores.
Plus most of the items are branded toys. If you are looking for birthday and Christmas gifts and are on a budget, this website is for you. They also have a great party supplies section – everyone in one place!
PoundToy are a website that specialises in kids toys. Their prices are guaranteed to beat the high street. So when they got in touch asking if we wanted to try out their website and of course go shopping we jumped at the challenge.
There are many toys and games to browse through. Toys for different ages are categorised in appropriate age brackets and also brands. So if you are looking for Fireman Sam toys you can go straight to that section. I know the website is called PoundToy, but the prices range all the way from 30p right up to toys £20+.
They also sell party supplies like party bag fillers, toys and fancy dress costumes. So a great alternative if you are planning birthday parties.
You can pop over here to see what we bought on our shopping haul at PoundToy.
One of baby girl’s first phrases was “cup of tea?” So being asked to share our thoughts on the Mr Kipling Tea Set was perfect! I’m a huge fan of Mr Kipling’s cakes, French Fancies being my favourite although Cherry Bakewells come a close second. Mmmm shame I don’t have any in the kitchen cupboard at the moment!
Everyone adores Mr Kipling’s cakes! Featuring replicas of the much-loved cakes including French Fancies, Battenberg and Cherry Bakewells for arranging on the two-tiered cake stand. Each cake features a shaped bottom for children to locate the correct corresponding shape on the easily assembled cake stand – so not only is it a fantastic role play toy, it has shape-sorting fun too!
This past week I have been testing out the latest toy craze of Glam Goo. Yes you heard that right, using goo or slime if you wish to decorate accessories. I suppose it’s kind of a crafty thing but ending up with surprisingly cool items kids can wear or take around with them.
“Slime gets a sprinkle of glitter with Glam Goo customisable and wearable slime”
I had great fun with the two packs of Glam that was sent over to review. First up is the Glam Goo fantasy pack.
I’m a huge fan of learning, in fact I never stop. Since I left college I have completed various free and Open University courses to feed my learning craving. I’m hoping to pass this onto baby girl. I’m a huge believer of children feeding their minds of new facts, and new things. Especially when it comes down to S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, art and maths) subjects.
