I love to source unusual items for my girls, and I’m always browsing online shops. When Room to Grow got in touch asking if I’d like to review and run a giveaway for one of their products I thought the Spiketus Rex Multi half backpack looked fun.
With it being the back to school rush coming upon us, this half backpack would be great for school. It’s so bright your child would be able to spot their bag a mile off! Plus you would be able to spot your child as they all come out of school with hundreds of other children.
It’s the start of the Summer holidays so you may be thinking about going abroad, or maybe staying home this year in your garden. Which ever you decide to do you may want to think about mosquitoes.
Lucky for you I have 3 to giveaway, but first here is a little about the Zap-It!
Did you know that scratching a mosquito bite may bring short-lived relief? but it also floods the bitten area with histamine causing swelling, incessant urges to scratch and a risk of damaging the skin’s surface, and therefore you could get an infection.
A safe, clinically tested way to deal with mosquitoes and other insect bites is to use Zap-It!
As you know by now I love hosting competitions, and of course entering a few myself! If you have any birthdays coming up, on the lookout for a gift or just want to treat yourself this is one giveaway for you.
I’m pleased to offer a handmade curled up cat necklace to one of you from Jana Reinhardt. It’s worth £89. A curled up sleepy cat pendant, suspended from a fine trace chain. Handmade from solid sterling silver. It’s truly one of a kind.
The perfect little cat measures 13mm across and the chain can be worn at 16 or 18 inches (41 or 46cm).
I always try to be organised and have a box of greeting cards available for last minute birthdays and occasions. Being a busy mum I forget to buy cards at times so keeping a little selection readily available has kept me out of trouble with the family many of times!
So when Tutti Frutti Designs got in contact asking me to have a look at their selection of greeting cards I thought why not? I love to support smaller independent business and help them get their products “out there”.
Hello, welcome back to the last day of my 3rd blogiversary giveaways. You can catch up with days 1, 2 and 3 here on the competitions page.
Why I’m still in love with blogging 3 years down the line:
In the blog world each day is different. You honestly never know what is going to turn up in your email box. It could be someone wanting the earth for pennies or nothing! But then it could be a fantastic opportunity, well paid and an absolute dream project to work on. These are few and far between these days and as the blogging world welcomes many new bloggers everyday they are becoming very rare. At this point you need to be the one that stands out from everyone else.
Welcome back to Day 2 of my 3rd blogiversary giveaways. You can catch up with the Day 1 giveaway here.
The first year of blogging, I did it as a hobby. Writing about my favourite hobbies – books, gardening and entering competitions. When my daughter joined us, I turned my blog into another direction – family/parenting orientated. At the start of blogging I couldn’t think of a decent blog name so chose my own name Rachel Bustin. Now I’m so glad I did because that name can grow with my blog into any direction and not just the “mummy blogger” route.
Blogging is not just a hobby for me or even a job, it’s a way of life. There is hardly a day goes by that I don’t write something. If I can’t get on my laptop I write posts on the app on my phone.
It’s amazing to find something in life that you know you were born to do. It may have taken me until I hit my 30’s to get there but I’m here at last!
For today’s giveaway I have this lovely makeup brush set and blusher palette.
