December is here! Yes, we are well and truly into the Christmas season now. My favourite time of year. For a few weeks now I’ve been itching to dig out the decorations and get the tree up. But for now the tree will have to wait until the weekend.
It hasn’t stopped me doing a some Christmas decorating in my little workspace!
Debenhams kindly set me the challenge of sprucing up my workspace with Christmassy things. Yay!
So I had a proper good look at the Debenhams online Christmas Shop to see what I could find to turn my workspace into a Christmas wonderland.
Hello all, here is another of my Christmas Wish posts. I wonder if I will get any of these kitchen appliances from my amazing husband. He knows from reading the previous ones that I’m after a coffee machine or a years subscription box, just because I love getting things through my letterbox or even a few items for the home.
But what I would love is a gorgeous toaster. One of those retro kinds, you know the funky pastel colour ones. With of course the matching kettle. Cannot forget the kettle! These type of kitchen appliances are fairly expensive, and you know me, I love to save money.
Do you love to shop online?
Now that Christmas is only a few weeks away it’s time to start thing about your Christmas shopping. That’s if you like to be organised. I know people that are completely last minute shoppers and wonder why there is nothing left that they want! I do have a Women’s and Babie’s & Kid’s gift guides for the slightly different gifts if you are a bit stuck on ideas.
I’m a super organised person, or at least I like to think so, so I’ve been thinking about Christmas presents for a while now. With it being baby girl’s first Christmas I’m super excited!
These are the photos I took while making my Christmas Cake. Cannot wait to tuck into it tomorrow!
I wish all my fantastic readers a very Merry Christmas!
Well it’s that time of year that is the most exciting time for a comper! Advent competitions are run daily by an enormous amount of companies giving away fantastic prizes. They can range from electrical goods and gadgets at the top end, down to discounts off their sites for a limited time.
Some companies start on the 1st December with their 12 days or 24 days of Christmas, whereas others may start on the 12th December with their 12 days of Christmas. I have spent the first week of this month gathering up all the daily advent competitions that I want to enter everyday and sorting them into a folder on my laptop so I can quickly enter them each day.
The key to entering advent competitions is to be organised and only enter the ones you really want to win, as there are thousands out there and if your time is limited you will find it hard to enter all of them.
There are many competition sites that have the lists of advents in sections. These are some of the types of advent competitions out there:
- Web based
The sites that I use to find the advent competitions are: The Prize Finder, Competition Database and MSE (Money Saving Expert). I also search for them myself on Twitter using just the search bar.
Today is my first day of maternity leave, so while I wait for baby girl to arrive I will be keeping myslef busy with the advent competitions!
I wish everyone the best of luck and hopefully we will all win some lovely prizes.
