While I am sitting here writing this blog post on my 2019 Travel Bucket List. I’m sitting in a gorgeous wooden lodge in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Isn’t it funny that while you are on holiday you always think and plan your next escape?
Mr B and I were looking at holiday destinations this afternoon while it was raining and blowing a hooly outside our lodge, dreaming of where to take the kids next year. We have been discussing whether to keep to the UK or to go abroad.
Do we go somewhere hot? like Spain? Mr B was in fact in Marbella only in June for work and loved it!
Or do we go for somewhere breathtakingly beautiful like Iceland? I’ve always wanted to go to Iceland to see the Northern Lights and stay in an Ice Hotel. I have to say I’m more of a cold weather person. The sun and heat don’t agree with my fair skin and red hair!

Wow didn’t January disappear fast? February is an exciting month for us. First up is Baby girl’s first birthday and then our house is being put on the market. January for me was all about setting up my blogging goals for the year. You can pop over to here to have a little peek to see what goals I have set myself.
Wow didn’t October fly by! I have now been back to work 4 weeks and it’s gone by so quickly. We are now into a little routine so we all get to our places on time in the mornings! Here you can read all about our back to work routine.
Also if you want to catch up on last months roundup post you can do so.
It’s strange as I have had a lesser amount of blogging time this month but my stats have rocketed! I have had some amazing competitions running and reviewed lots of fabulous things. Why not have a scroll back through and see what we have been up to?
The Summer holidays are all but over now. I don’t know why but I love September because it never seems that long until Christmas! My roundup and bucket list this month will be showcasing my favourite post from August, and my to-do list for September.
August has been about preparing baby girl for the dreaded return to work. I return at the start of October. It’s all be confirmed now as I have been in to have a chat with my manager. I worked out a little back to work plan for myself as well. To help ease us into the process. For 8 weeks I will be working only 3 days a week and taking the other 2 as holiday, which I have accumulated while being off. That will take me up to the start of December.
It’s hard to believe August is here already. The start of a new month means it’s time for the monthly roundup and bucket list. July has been a crazy month. With our first family holiday and my husband’s Nan’s 100th Birthday. My older sister coming over from Canada to meet baby girl for the first time, and the biggest thing for my blog was going self hosted. I have the photo of the 100th birthday cake here in My Sunday Photo
It really has been a crazy month and I know I’m a few days late writing this as all 3 of us have had terrible Summer colds so haven’t felt the best.
So we have started the weaning journey which you can read about in baby girl’s 6 Month Review. It’s a fun journey seeing what she likes and doesn’t, the messy face and hands! We were given some Out of Date Mates to review and these help organise your jars and pouches to know what you opened when. A money-saving lifesaver for weaning.
It’s that time of the month again for the June Roundup and July Bucket list combined. As you know from last months post that I’m combining the two together. I love to look back over my month of blogging and also my day to day life and incorporate what I need to do into my bucket list.
I suppose the way of looking at it is what do I want to achieve in July aand how can I improve on June?
