Book Review & Tour: Relativity by Antonia Hayes

I love being a part of book blog tours. This week I’m on the tour for Relativity by Antonia Hayes. A wonderful story testing all limits of love and family.

Book Review & Tour: Relativity by Antonia Hayes

Book Description

Ethan is an exceptionally gifted young boy, obsessed with physics and astronomy.

His single mother Claire is fiercely protective of her brilliant, vulnerable son. But she can’t shield him forever from learning the truth about what happened to him when he was a baby; why Mark had to leave them all those years ago.

Now age twelve, Ethan is increasingly curious about his past, especially his father’s absence in his life. When he intercepts a letter to Claire from Mark, he opens a lifetime of feelings that, like gravity, will pull the three together again.

Relativity is a tender and triumphant story about unbreakable bonds, irreversible acts, and testing the limits of love and forgiveness.

Book Review: Robin’s Winter Song

As you know by now we love reading books in our house. Our latest read is Robin’s Winter Song by Suzanne Barton. A wonderful picture storybook for all young children.

It’s quite fitting at the moment due to the snow conditions around the country at the moment. Although down here in Cornwall it’s wet and mild today but snow is forecasted for tomorrow. To be honest it’s unlikely as snow is a rare sight for us. We did have it back in 2010 which was quite heavy at the time. I remember as we had to go and pick up the keys to our brand new house and had to park on top the hill and walk down to it as there was no way of getting down there or getting back up! So if it does snow this weekend we won’t be going anywhere!

Book Review: The Giant and the Three Dwarves

Since having baby girl I have found my love of kids books and The Giant and the Three Dwarves did not disappoint. We have quite a big collection of children’s books now, and I know as baby girl gets older she will love her collection as much as I do.

Book Review: Once Upon A Time…Online

It’s great fun being a Parragon Book Buddy. This is our first book from them to review. Once Upon A Time…. Online by David Bedford & Rosie Reeve is a fantastic children’s book for early learners. I would say for 3-5 year olds, but younger children may find it interesting as well. I love to read books to baby girl. She is nearly 11 months old and just looks at the bright colours and helps to turn the pages.

Once Upon A Time… Online arrived neatly wrapped and we was eager to see what the book was like inside.

Book Review: Late Whitsun by Jasper Kent

I was very excited to be accepted onto the blog tour for Late Whitsun by Jasper Kent. It’s been a while (for me anyway!) to have found the time to sit down with a good book. I’ve been very busy preparing for baby girl’s first Christmas!

So Late Whitsun is the first book in a new series featuring private detective Charlie Woolf. It’s set in Brighton in the 1930’s.

A few weeks back I was lucky enough to review The Book of Everyone which I personalised for my husband for Christmas ssshh! I know it will make an awesome present!

Now the people who made The Book of Everyone have another fun book out called Wise Words. I love the idea behind Wise Words. A fun gift for kids giving them a few words of advice!
Wise Words
Wise Words is the perfect book to give to your child. There are many phrases to choose from or there is the option for adding your own.
