I’m excited to be on another blog tour this week, yesterday was The Silence by Katharine Johnson, today is Come Sundown by one of my old favourite authors Nora Roberts.
Nora Roberts is a huge bestselling author of more than 200 novels and her latest one Come Sundown is another cracker! Published last week in hardback and available from Amazon in various formats.
So now onto the best parts! The blurb… and of course my review.
What is Come Sundown all about?
What did I think of it?
Today I’m on the blog tour for Katharine Johnson’s fantastic thriller The Silence.
I have something a little different today instead of a review. It’s a little guest post from Katharine herself about her favourite things.
I’m very pleased to help kick off the One To Watch blog tour today by the lovely Rachel Amphlett, not only does she have a great name (Rachel!) but she is the amazing author behind the Detective Kay Hunter series.
Read on for a fantastic extract from the new Kay Hunter novel.
Sophie Whittaker shared a terrifying secret. Hours later, she was dead.
Detective Kay Hunter and her colleagues are shocked by the vicious murder of a teenage girl at a private party in the Kentish countryside.
A tangled web of dark secrets is exposed as twisted motives point to a history of greed and corruption within the tight-knit community.
Confronted by a growing number of suspects and her own enemies who are waging a vendetta against her, Kay makes a shocking discovery that will make her question her trust in everyone she knows.
One to Watch is a gripping murder mystery thriller, and the third in the Detective Kay Hunter series:
1. SCARED TO DEATH
2. WILL TO LIVE
3. ONE TO WATCH
4. HELL TO PAY (out 2017)
You know sometimes you just need to read a light hearted book to bring a smile to your face. Well Laura Lake and the Hipster Weddings by Wendy Holden is just that. Witty, fun and down right full of entertainment!
I was lucky enough to be sent a beautiful hardback copy to read and review from Head of Zeus, plus you have the chance to win your very own copy as well. First though, here is a little bit about Laura Lake and the Hipster Weddings.
She’ll need a triple-barrelled name for the castle one. She’ll need a gallon of glitter for the woodland one. She’ll need a lobster-shaped hat for the Shoreditch one.
Laura Lake longs to be a journalist. Instead she’s an unpaid intern at a glossy magazine – sleeping in the fashion cupboard and living on canapés. But she’s just got her first big break: infiltrate three society weddings and write a juicy exposé.
Security will be tighter than a bodycon dress, but how hard can it be? Cue disappearing brides, demanding socialites – and a jealous office enemy who will do anything to bring her down…
Hello, today I’m on the blog tour for Jim Ody’s The Place That Never Existed. I was hooked on the blurb as it’s based in Devon, practically in the middle of no-where, and fairly local to me.
For Paul and Debbie it was meant to be the happiest time of their lives – a small village wedding in front of their family and friends, followed by a quiet honeymoon in Devon. Not everyone was happy to see them together.
Someone from the past was intent on ending their marriage before it had really started. Now, supposedly away from it all in a picturesque log cabin, Paul and Debbie find themselves in the midst of mysterious happenings. Unexplained disappearances with people turning up dead, and all of it centred on the site of an horrific murder.
A place the locals wish was a place that never existed.
Hello, I hope you had a great week.
Today I’m on the blog tour for Under the Love Umbrella by Davina Bell and illustrated by Allison Colpoys. My first thought is what a wonderful eye-catching cover for a children’s book.
Whatever you fear, come close my dear
You’re tucked in safe for always here
And I will never not be near
Because of our love umbrella
From this award-winning creative duo comes a book about the wonder of ever-present love. A stunning celebration of the joy and comfort that is always with us, wherever we roam in the big, wild world.
