AD-gifted I’ve always loved baking, which I found through watching my late Aunt as a young child. This love of baking traditional cakes that I have I’m passing down to the girls. Throughout lockdown, we kept ourselves busy making cakes and sweet treats, and we’ve kept this up by having baking Saturdays.

This past couple of weeks we have been trying out Nadiya's Deluxe Baking Set, which the girls love. It’s been developed in partnership with Nadiya Hussain who won The Great British Bake Off back in 2015. The bakeware is specially made for children to use so it’s safe and no sharp edges and comes with 6 recipe cards to try out.

I was intrigued to find out what made their products special and stand out in the bath and body care market.

ARRAN are inspired by nature, the beautiful untouched natural elements that surround their land. Water from their very own freshwater spring finds its way into each and every one of their products.

All the products we tried smelt amazing. The Wild Gorse Room Spray brought back childhood memories when my sister and I used to play around the gorse in the fields and the old mine buildings near us when we were kids!

AD-gifted The girls are huge PAW Patrol fans and recently they have been playing with these electronic learning toys.

Little Dottie has been fascinated with Count with Marshall. He comes with 10 interactive coins. Marshall will speak to you and ask you to identify a coin. Once you have found the right one you insert it into the front of his fire truck. It all helps with number recognition and counting skills.

L is loving Ryder’s Alphabet Tablet. It’s great for helping with letter recognition and phonics. It’s great learning fun with the pups!

I haven’t posted on the grid since September. I’ve been really busy doing work on the blogs I run, so the Instagram grid took a backseat. But I’m OK with that. There is so much pressure to keep posting to keep your account visible and growing that it can be overwhelming. I’m nowhere near 10k followers and I don’t think I will be for years to come. I’ve had work pull out on me a few times recently once they know I don’t have 10k and the “magical swipe up”. It’s disheartening if I’m honest. Maybe if Instagram rolled it out to all it wouldn’t be a bad idea!!

Life update - well this little miss really is a true fiery Aries and lives up to her red hair nature. They tell me at nursery she’s strong willed! Misbehaving constantly I call it! 🤣 The terrible twos have hit us with a barge pole!

L has one more week then she’s on half term. She adores school. Within a couple of weeks she moved up a reading book level. She’s made some lovely friends, who she won’t stop talking about!

I’m good. Although tired and little stressed out at times. One thing I treasure now is having those two mornings a week with no kids. It’s a breather.
