In July we have been married 4 years. Before that we were engaged for a few years but we wanted to buy our house before weddings and babies.
Back in October 2008 I never thought I would ever meet my soul mate, but I did.
My husband is my best friend. We have so much in common, a similar personality, and match each other like two peas in a pod. We get each other, if you know what I mean. Although I have always wanted an eternity ring and have yet to get one, so he hasn’t got that hint!
It’s just that we ‘click’. He puts up with me talking for hours on end about nothing in particular – I do think he switches off sometimes though!
We spent 7 and a half years together before our gorgeous rainbow baby came along. We did start trying back in 2013 but it wasn’t meant to be at those times.
Now as a family of 3 it couldn’t be more perfect. A wonderful new house awaits us the end of June where we can build many more memories.
I’m sad to be leaving our house it holds so many sad and happy memories for us. It was our first home together where we spent ages saving up enough back in 2010.
The day we found out we got the house was the day my aunt passed away. Happier times was when we had our little afternoon tea wedding party when we got married. Sad times also when we had our 3 miscarriages, but much happier times when we first brought our baby girl home. As you can see we have had lots of memories in our first home.
A house can hold so many memories isn’t that so?
We went on a holiday of a lifetime in that year we bought our house, we hadn’t planned to go to Canada and buy a house in the same year, but that’s how it worked out!
Last Thursday we popped over to the new house to see how the building work was getting on. It’s coming on along nicely. The kitchen we chose on Good Friday is being fitted this week along with the bathroom. We are so excited!
Now best be getting on with packing…..
Thanks for stopping by today.
