Top Trends in Kitchen Design 2019

We are approaching the end of the year now, so time to look forward to the predicted trends in kitchen design 2019. To be honest I love looking at interior design trends that are coming up, but I want to look at kitchens in particular as that is mum’s next project for the renovation of her miner’s cottage.

A Miner’s Cottage Renovation Project Part 3

It’s been just over a month since the last update on the renovation project on my mums old miner’s cottage. Work has been going on very nicely. If you want to catch on the previous updates they are here – part 1 and part 2.

A Miner's Cottage Renovation Project

So these past 6 weeks work has been going full speed on the demolishing of the old bathroom and the start of the new bathroom suite installation.Of course with any old buildings problems do arise. The lovely bloke who is doing the work for mum had found problems with the ceiling above the old shower. So he has had to replace that area completely. Now it looks fab with the new LED spotlights in place. With one right over the shower! How cool is that?

Saturday Catch Up: Blog Tour – The Paris Secret by Lily Graham

For this week’s Saturday Catch Up post I’m on the blog tour for The Paris Secret by Lily Graham. Reading this book has been my “me time” this week, which I have desperately needed with two poorly girls. It’s been read at 2am, 4am 11am and various other naptimes in the afternoons. But the one good thing about The Paris Secret is that it’s been easy to pick up, at various points in the story when I’ve had to quickly put it down.

Thanks to Bookouture and Lily Graham for giving me the chance to read an advance copy of The Parish Secret.

The last time Valerie was in Paris, she was three years old, running from the Nazis, away from the only home she had ever known.

A Mum’s Autumn Fashion Wardrobe With Pink Clove

Here we are in October, this month baby dottie turns 6 months old, and I still have not lost much of my baby weight. I’m not overly bothered by that because I’m still breastfeeding and awake countless times throughout the night. I need to eat to keep my energy up otherwise I feel faint. Mind you looking back at photos at the same point after having baby girl I’m much thinner. I guess having two babies in two and a half years takes its toll on your body making it much harder to lose the baby weight.

When Pink Clove recently got in touch asking if I would like a couple of items for my Autumn wardrobe, I thought why not? This tired momma deserves some new bits for Autumn.

So here are a few pictures of a wardrobe for stay at home mom.
