Most parents would agree their children spend too much time sat in front of the TV these days. Some kids even position themselves far too close to the screen when using their PlayStations and Xboxes. With that in mind, all moms and dads reading this post should attempt to do everything possible to peel their children away from the television sets. In most instances, adults just need to inspire the little ones or give them an exciting reason to spend time outside. There are some suggestions in this article that should assist in pointing people in the right direction.
I have to say I’m fed up with cleaning up the kitchen floor after baby girl has thrown her food everywhere. I never thought that you could buy something like the splatmat to put underneath the high chair. BooginHead have come up with this fantastic yet simple mat that measures a massive 52″ round. The splat mat has been a lifesaver for my kitchen floor in the new house I can tell you!
The BooginHead splatmat comes folded up in this box which was easy to get out. I have to say as packed into the box the mat comes out with a lot of creases, that are not easy to smooth out. I’m guessing over time they will fade away the more it’s used. My Chicco high chair is a rather large high chair and the splatmat will fit comfortably underneath.
Moving into a new home was a very special time for us. We finally had worked our socks off to afford a gorgeous 3 bed detached house with a rather large garden. Much better than the 3 storey town house built into a hill we moved from. Anyway we love proper wood furniture, the sturdy robust type that will last forever and worth spending those extra pennies on.
I love a blank room to plan from, this is what one end of the living room looked like before the movers arrived. It doesn’t look like that now of course – it’s missing baby girl’s toys! But you have an idea of the space.
Birth control has come a long way in modern times. Women now have more options than ever before to prevent an unwanted pregnancy. This is in large part due to the evolution of the contraceptive pill. However, a plethora of choices can present a bit of confusion from time to time. How are you to know which formulation is right for you? There are several factors to take into account to make an informed decision at the right time. There are generally two varieties available. These are known as the combination pill and the mini pill. We will now examine each in greater detail while listing the benefits and drawbacks associated with both.
As I’m writing this I’m having yet another suspected miscarriage. Last Wednesday I found the courage to take a pregnancy test. I was 4 days late, I knew something was up as I had been feeling rubbish for the past few days.
If you don’t know my history I had 3 miscarriages before baby girl was born in 2016. So I know exactly what it’s like to miscarry. I have spent the last few years wondering why I’m unlucky at conceiving.
The test last Wednesday was what I call a strong positive test. The lines were very strong and not faint at all.
For a few days we were so excited that baby girl was going to get a sibling. Then Saturday happened. I was at work for 5:30am felt a bit rough all day, but by the afternoon I felt cold and shivery. I knew straight away that it was happening again. On all 3 of my previous miscarriages I got cold and shivery which I’m guessing is my body rejecting what is not meant to be.
