Top Tips for Upgrading your Phone

I always find upgrading my phone an exciting little job. Although I know others find it a daunting task. Nowadays most of us have mobile phones and many have theirs on some type of contract. It could be a pay as you go or a monthly contract. Either way it’s always worth having a look and see where you can save money. It could be that you have way too many minutes or texts that you don’t use each month or even data (if you are like me and use every bit of free wifi I can find!!) There is always a saving to be had.

Contact Numbers UK have asked me to come up with my best tips for phone upgrades and why it’s worth upgrading your phone for their #PhoneUpgradeTips campaign.

So here are my Top Tips regarding phone upgrades, how to move all your existing stuff on your old phone over and why it’s worth upgrading in the first place.

Happy Halloween! All The Things You Need This Halloween

Halloween is a time of celebration and superstition. It is thought to have originated from the Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off roaming ghosts. it also marks the time of year between the end of harvest and the start of Winter.

To help you get organised for this Halloween on the 31st October, I have put together a list of all the things you could possibly need and things to do.

Halloween Activities

  • Trick or Treating
  • Dressing up for costume parties
  • Carving pumpkins
  • Bonfires
  • Apple bobbing
  • Playing pranks
  • Visiting haunted attractions/houses
  • Telling each other scary stories
  • Watching horror films – (here are my top films)

Product Review & Giveaway: Ice Cube Trays and Whistling Tea Kettle

As you know I love trying out new products. My latest products are the Vremi Silicone Ice Cube Trays with Lids and the Vremi Whistling Tea Kettle. During our house move a few months back I lost the ice cube tray we had, it was the one that came with the fridge so a bog standard one. Being asked to review the Vremi Silicone ones has come at the right time!

My first impression is how bendy they are. Yeah they are really flexible and I was a bit dubious on filling them with water to begin with. I do like the idea of the lid that comes with them. It’s ideal for portioning up homemade baby food to freeze.

Income and Stats Report for September 2017

I apologise for being a few days late with last month’s income report. I’ve had so much work on it’s been nigh on impossible to keep up. Plus last week baby girl was really ill. The worst she has ever been. She had some horrendous virus that caused a high temperature and vomiting then a horrid rash came out. I had to take time off from my day job at short notice which isn’t the best. I don’t get paid if I don’t go in.  Luckily when baby girl was napping I cracked on with some blog work to cover my loss in wages.

Anyway here we are at my Income and Stats report for September 2017.

(If you never caught up with last month’s you can find that one here)
