Adult Christmas Gift Ideas

Today I’m sharing with you my adult Christmas gift ideas. You can check out my kids Christmas gift guide here. Adults can be tricky to buy for. I always find it hard to buy a gift for my husband. It’s hard to buy for my brother and my sister, well as she lives in Canada I have to find her something small that she can take home.

So hopefully these few ideas here in this guide will give you a few ideas to find the perfect gift for a loved one.

Preventing Wind Damage to Your Roof

The weather has been getting noticeably more intense over the past few years in the UK, while there are plenty of theories on why the weather has been fluctuating to greater extremes, from global warming to climate change. Whatever the cause, it creates havoc for us every year as we are left to pick up after.

Preventing Wind Damage to Your Roof

Because of this, we’ve put together this piece of helpful advice that will hopefully prevent you from needing a new roof for your property. Make sure to check over your property carefully before the worst weather of the season makes its way through.

Moonlite Children’s Story Book Projector Review

Next weekend see’s the clocks going back. With the evenings getting darker earlier will help the kids to get to sleep. Well that’s me hoping! To help with bedtime Moonlite have come up with an alternative way (using a story book projector) to reading a traditional story book. Moonlite brings storybooks to life with a modern twist, that makes reading a fun and memorable event for both children and parents. This is done by projecting the story using an app and your smart phone.

The Baby Diaries #7 – A New Parent’s Essential Kit

A couple of weeks back, both the girls had terrible colds and ear infections. The Friday evening was the worst and hardest night I’ve ever had as a parent. Baby Dottie had a terrible runny nose, high temperature and of course her ear infection. She was on antibiotics from the Doctor which we had seen earlier that afternoon and was having Calpol for her temperature. I was using Snufflebabe vapour rub from A New Parent’s Essential Kit on her chest and back to help her breathe easier. That stuff is a godsend for babies. I always have it ready in the cupboard for the girls when they get colds. (Please bare in mind that the vapour rub is only suitable from 3 months +)
