I love subscription boxes and you can honestly get them for almost anything nowadays. The latest one we are reviewing is for baby girl. It’s an educational box for illustrated word learning by Mrs Wordsmith. We are reviewing the younger of the two, The Social Journey for ages 2-5 years. The older box is called The Narrative Journey and that’s for ages 6-13 years.
What is The Social Journey?
It’s about giving your children the opportunity to develop social and emotional intelligence with the right words, hilariously illustrated by the Hollywood artists behind Madagascar.
Today as part of the blog tour, I have the chance to giveaway a fantastic book from Kate Mascarenhas called The Psychology of Time. It’s a time-travel murder mystery set around a female-centric world with brilliantly developed characters. To enter the giveaway please fill in the gleam widget at the bottom.
1967: Four female scientists invent a time-travel machine. They are on the cusp of fame: the pioneers who opened the world to new possibilities. But then one of them suffers a breakdown and puts the whole project in peril…
2017: Ruby knows her beloved Granny Bee was the pioneer that went mad, but they never talk about it. Then they receive a message from the future – a newspaper clipping reporting the mysterious death of an elderly lady…
2018: When Odette discovered the body she went into shock. But when the inquest fails to answer any of her questions, Odette is left frustrated. Who is this dead woman that haunts her dreams? And why is everyone determined to cover up her murder?
Welcome back to #bookreviewmondays. Today I have a review of a cute little children’s book called Tommy Twigtree and the Carrot Crunchers by Michael Firman.
Tommy Twigtree and his friends enjoy peace and harmony in their garden. That is until Robbie Rabbit and his Bandits decide that carrots are on the menu!

I love to be super organised, and I know Christmas is still months away, but with family coming to ours, we need to think about space. Having a guest bedroom that can be quick and easy to change around is very useful. Now until I discovered a Zip and Link bed it was a matter of the blow up mattress out and the spare duvet for the floor for the child, and the bed for the adult.
If the idea of the Zip and Link bed has you intrigued, read on to find out more.
