Everyday I see my daughter developing her speech and play skills. In fact she’s really into copying everything we say or do at the moment. Yes we really have to watch what we say! Baby girl knows I work in a supermarket in my “day job” and is so obsessed with shopping.
We were extremely lucky to be sent a selection of toys from Casdon which included a shopping trolley, a large range of play food and the cutest little Henry mop & bucket set. All of these toys are great for little imaginations and playtime.
As you can see from the photo she couldn’t wait to play!
OK, well you know I’m happily married, but being asked to check out the new dating app – Meetchu sounded useful to those of you who are dating. Years ago when I was dating you had the online dating websites, (which I may have used!) but dating apps were unknown. Back then you were always eager to get home and get on the computer to chat. No apps where you can have a natter throughout the day, or like Meetchu where you can meet before you meet.
Meetchu brings alive the online dating scene with its brand new innovative way of getting people together. It’s the dating app that lets you meet before you meet.
Welcome back to our little weekly round-up of Living Arrows 26/53 (2018). I’m enjoying getting into the routine of sharing a little bit of our life and how my gorgeous 2 year old is growing away so fast along with the new baby!
You can catch up on my last post here: Living Arrows 25/53.
The idea behind Living Arrows is to celebrate childhood. It’s name is taken from a poem by Kahlil Gibran,
“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
Next month sees our 5th wedding anniversary. So when Modern Map Art got in touch asking if we wanted to review a night sky star map I thought it would be ideal as a gift to us for celebrating 5 years of married life.
I’m a bit of a star geek and love the night sky. Stars are wonderful to gaze at on a clear night and I’m always looking for the constellations I know. What’s your favourite constellation? I’ve always been a fan of the plough as it was the first one I found myself as a kid.
Having another baby and becoming a family of four means we are having to update our family wall of pictures and photos. This wall is going up the stairs in our new house. It’s full of memories of our wedding 5 years ago and pictures of baby girl throughout her first year.
When My-Picture.co.uk got in touch to try out their canvas designing business, it was an ideal time to add a picture of our two girls. My husband caught this shot of them the other week and it’s my favourite, so I knew it was the one to be turned into a canvas for the family wall.
