Book Review: A Personalised Bobadeg Book

When the people at Bobadeg offered me one of their gorgeous personalised children’s books to review I jumped at the chance!
They are also going to let me give two books away to you, my readers.

Now lets hear what Bobadeg is about:

“Bobadeg is based in the UK and has developed a range of fun and educational, personalised books for children aged 5 and under. Our aim is that each of our products provide a unique learning adventure for each child that makes them feel special.
All of our books can be personalised with your child’s photo and name.   A number of our customers comment on how proud their child or grandchild feels when they receive their book and how often they go back to it once they have received it.”

Their personalised kids books are aimed at children aged 5 and under. But my daughter is only 4 months old and is fascinated by all the bright colours, and I love to read the story to her. I do think if she got hold of it though it would end up a chewed mess! So for now I will just hold and read it to her. Until she is older to understand it.

Book Designs
There are 7 designs of the Bobadeg books you can choose from.
  • Fairy Garden
  • Funny Fish
  • I can Fight Dragons – Boys Version
  • I can Fight Dragons – Girls Version
  • Jiggly Juggly Journey
  • Swirly Twirly Kite
  • That’s Poo!
As you can see from the photo below I chose The Fairy Garden version

I think what makes the book really special is as well as adding your child’s name and photo you can also have a personal message placed inside the front cover.

How To Create Your Personalised Bobadeg Book
There are 3 simple steps on the Bobadeg website to help you create your personalised book.

STEP 1 – PICK A BOOK from one of their great designs.
STEP 2 – PICK A SIZE: You can choose between a standard size book and free bookmark or a mini book which is like the one I received above.
STEP 3 – PERSONALISATION DETAILS – Simply fill in their personalisation boxes to let them know:
a) Your child’s first name,
b) The message you would like to appear on the inside cover of the book
c) A photo of your child facing the camera

I just have to point out that on the back of the mini book was some of the other books in the series with their personalised front covers. I really love this little touch as it’s great to see what the other books would look like if you decide to get more from the series.

I think they are great little books and make perfect little birthday presents. Therefore I am giving the personalised Bobadeg books a 5 out of 5 stars rating.

* I received this personalised mini book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.

My Sunday Photo this week is an oldie from our holiday to Canada 6 years ago. I love how straight up and down these trees are by the roadside.
Happy Sunday x

Hot – Word of the Week 04/06/2016

The one word that sums up my week for Word of the Week is Hot.
It’s very humid and hot by night and so my husband finds it hard to sleep. He’s what I call a hot bod and has a high normal body temperature so is always hot even in Winter. I’m the total opposite to him and feel the cold pretty easily. But this week does seem to be really hot overnight.
I have one of those Gro Eggs in our bedroom as baby girl sleeps in the same room as us by night. So it’s really good to keep an eye on the temperature for her and so we know what to dress her in over night. I wrote a post on Night-Time when baby girl was just a few weeks old. But that was when the weather was a lot cooler.

Coconut Lane – Coconut Queen Ambassador

When the lovely people at Coconut Lane asked me to join their ambassador programme I nearly jumped out the bed! When I got the email through I was having cuddles with a sleepy baby girl so was lucky not to wake her up! Being an ambassador for Coconut Lane means I have become a Coconut Queen – how great is that? On a slightly different subject is that I love anything coconut smelling or tasting and that made me sit up and take notice to the name of the brand – Coconut Lane. I just love the name!

May Roundup and June Bucket List

Time is short at the moment with a fussy 4 month old so I have decided to combine my monthly Roundup and Bucket List posts into one. It’s actually a bit of a brain wave for me to come up with time-saving ideas that might help!

May Roundup

May has been a really good blogging month for me. I started the blog everyday in May challenge. To be honest I think I was a bit optimistic in thinking I could write a blog post everyday for the month with a baby. But I have published 24 posts out of 31 so not too bad.

A Orsolya Hernold Guided Journal Review

Ever since I was a little girl I have always been interested in diaries and journals. I have kept one on and off most of my life. When I was about 10 I used to have one of those little journals with a lock and key. I think this was where my love of writing began. Now I use my blog as a sort of online diary/journal.
When I was given one of Orsolya Hernold Guided Journals to have a look at and review, I couldn’t say no.
