I have really fancied the thought of having underfloor heating in my home at some stage. It’s much less obtrusive and you none of those eye sore radiators on the walls. Dust catchers I call them! The best tool to de-dust a radiator is a clean paintbrush. It gets right into all the little cracks.
Ever since I started blogging “properly” at the beginning of the year I have been toying with the idea of getting my own business card designed.
It just makes you feel more business like and important doesn’t it?
I’m not totally sure where I will give them out yet, but I’m sure I will think of something.
Anyway I was offered the chance of getting some business cards printed up by Colour Graphics in exchange for a review. I chose the 50 un-laminated double sided business card.
I’m a huge lover of flowers so you will find many of my Sunday photos will be of some type of flower I have found on my travels. This week is pink roses.
It’s not a bad photo taken with my iPhone 4s if I say so myself, but I can’t wait to get a newer phone with a better camera. I need to wait until September to change my phone now as I’m changing networks. My current network seems very expensive to what I’ve found. It’s not too long to wait!
I you are all having a great weekend and hopefully have some sun where you are.
I love participating in book tours. It’s good fun popping around the tour reading everyone’s review on the book you have just read. This time around the book I have read for the tour is Random Acts of Unkindness by Jacqueline Ward.
A totally different book from the last book I read Beyond the Veil which was a fantasy vampire/werewolves type of book. Random Acts of Unkindness is a mystery crime novel and the first one in the DS Jan Pearce series.
I have been hooked on Syfy’s new werewolf show Bitten recently. So when the lovely Jessica Majzner contacted me and asked if I wanted to read and review her book Beyond the Veil which is about werewolves and also vampires I jumped at it.
I read all types of books as you know, but have always had a soft spot for supernatural novels since I was a teen. I was a huge Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan back in the day and this got me hooked into vampires, werewolves and ghost stories. Every now and again when I get the chance to read, which is a bit limited at the moment with a teething 6 month old I get myself into a great book.
This month’s book is Beyond the Veil by Jessica Majzner.
