The Easter holidays are nearly upon us now. Then of course after that you have the May Bank holidays and half term, before you know it the long Summer holidays are here! That may be wishful thinking but coming out of Winter which has been a cold one – thanks to the Beast from the East. It may just be a good time for getting your car ready for the Spring holidays.

I always try to be organised and have a box of greeting cards available for last minute birthdays and occasions. Being a busy mum I forget to buy cards at times so keeping a little selection readily available has kept me out of trouble with the family many of times!
So when Tutti Frutti Designs got in contact asking me to have a look at their selection of greeting cards I thought why not? I love to support smaller independent business and help them get their products “out there”.
Since we moved house last year, I have been looking around for prints, photos and pictures for my daughters room. We obviously left behind her decorated nursery which was fine for the first 18 months of her life, but since we moved here we haven’t decorated her room with the baby stick on stickers.
So the opportunity to have a print designed for her was great. Created by Magic sent us this gorgeous floral Initial baby print, all with her birth details on. All I had to do was send the correct details, like her first name, date of birth, hospital, weight and time of birth over to them and by magic! The print arrived in the post!
I work regularly with Austin Macauley publishers and this month we have received this gorgeous little book to review – The Little Red Airplane by Heather May-Warren. As you know from all of our book reviews we love to have reading time everyday and this past week we have thoroughly enjoyed The Little Red Airplane.
On a picnic at the beach Elly finds a little toy airplane. It is sad and broken and needing a home, but not for long. Soon the little plane is fixed up, painted, and named Red to match his shiny new paint. Red loves living with Elly and her family, and meeting the animals who live with them, but when Mother Hen’s chick goes missing what can he do to help his new family?
Welcome back to our little weekly round-up of Living Arrows 12/53 (2018). I’m enjoying getting into the routine of sharing a little bit of our life and how my gorgeous 2 year old is growing away so fast!
You can catch up on last week’s post here : Living Arrows 11/53.
The idea behind Living Arrows is to celebrate childhood. It’s name is taken from a poem by Kahlil Gibran,
“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
