Do you wanna build a snowman? – Itty Bittys from Hallmark

Ahh Frozen! Who doesn’t love the film? It’s on most days when my daughter is at her Grandma’s house! Baby girl absolutely loves it, much to my husband’s annoyance! She loves to dance and sing ( in toddler speak!) to it.

When we were challenged to build a snowman from Hallmark to celebrate the new Itty Bittys collection it was a little exciting! Hallmark have released a fantastic Frozen collection featuring Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Sven – all the fan favourites.

Frozen Itty Bittys from Hallmark

In our goody box from Hallmark was a whole host of delights. As well as the four Itty Bittys there was a couple of celebration cards – Frozen of course! a Frozen cupcake kit, and all the ingredients to make your very own snowman.

Top Tips For Posting Your Christmas Presents

No matter how beautiful and wonderful, Christmas can easily become a very stressful and busy time of year, especially with little ones to think about. The pressure of making sure that your festive gifts reach your loved ones before the big day, especially if they don’t live in the same area as you, is a worry that most of us experience every year. Fear not, there are solutions to these problems.

Top Tips on posting your Christmas presents

If you are planning on posting your Christmas presents, it is best to buy them and send them as early as possible, even if the recipient is slightly tempted to take a sneak peek at what you’ve bought them! If, like a lot of us, last minute shopping is inevitable, make sure to check the last delivery dates to avoid disappointment.

Time for cleaning your house? See these good and bad habits.

Time to clean your home again? Dull, huh? Not necessarily. Actually, cleaning can actually be quite the fun, and not at all as time-consuming as you think. We interviewed maids from leading cleaning companies and they advised us how to clean our homes quickly and efficiently. And according to specialists, cleaning your home can be ten times faster if you just break the bad habits and replace them with good ones. And, believe us, we, too, were shocked when we found out about these habits.

Tips on cleaning your house

Using bleach to clean is wrong

Your mother lied to you when she said that there isn’t a better all-purpose cleaner than bleach. In fact, bleach has no cleaning properties at all. Thus, if you use it as a cleaning product, the bleach is as good as nothing. Another lie you’ve been told is that bleach never expires – actually bleach loses 90 percent of it’s disinfectant properties just 60 days after it’s first use.

The right habit to adopt: Inform yourself before you declare a product the perfect all-purpose cleaner. You’ll be surprised but vinegar, for example, is ten times more effective than bleach (and it’s not only a disinfectant like bleach – it’s good for cleaning, too).

Blog Tour: Christmas Angels by Nadine Dorries

Today I’m happy to say it’s my turn on the blog tour for Nadine Dorries Christmas Angels. As you know from my previous posts I’m a huge fan of Nadine Dorries and her Lovely Lane series.

You can catch up here with my reviews of The Children of Lovely Lane and The Mother’s of Lovely Lane.

Christmas Angels by Nadine Dorries

Book Description

The nurses of Lovely Lane face Christmas dramas at the busiest time of the St Angelus year.

Christmas may be the season of goodwill, festive cheer and family cheer for some – but not for the poor of 1950s Liverpool. And for St Angelus Hospital in Lovely Lane, it is frantically busy. There are the old, the dying, the children –and the emergencies. The nurses, known locally as the Angels of Lovely Lane, are run off their feet. Dana, Beth, Pammy and Victoria hardly have time to catch their breath, let alone have a Christmas of their own.

Gripping, gritty, moving, and often humorous too, this is vintage Nadine, a story from the heart of a writer who knows exactly what it is like to be a nurse in a big hospital at Christmas.
