Our Bedtime Challenge with Bepanthen

We have decided to take up the #BepanthenBedtimeChallenge with Bepanthen. The idea of this challenge is for us to share our bedtime routine and night-time nappy changes experiences with you using Bepanthen nappy care ointment to help protect against the causes of nappy rash.

Bepanthen Nappy Ointment

Up until 4 and half months baby girl used to sleep through the night from about 4 weeks. Now at nearly 7 and half months she wakes up at least twice a night on a good night. She is teething quite bad at the moment and I’m sure this wakes her up during the night.

Therefore I like to use a nappy ointment like Bepanthen to protect her little botty especially now she is teething. I don’t know if it’s connected but she is more prone to nappy rash while she is teething.

Bedtime Routine

We start our bedtime routine with a bubble bath using Childs Farm baby bedtime bubbles which is tangerine scented. It really does smell amazing!

After bathtime baby girl has warm snuggles in her giraffe hooded towel, before being smothered in her bedtime baby lotion from Johnson’s.

A thin layer of Bepanthen is applied to her dry clean bottom ready for her night-time nappy. Which of course is the nappy that is on the longest for the day if she sleeps soundly.

The ointment form’s a long-lasting, breathable, non-sticky and transparent layer to baby girl’s skin, so I know it’s comforting to her to help her sleep better.

Bepanthen protects and cares for baby’s skin.

I love the fact that it’s so gentle and can be used at each nappy change without drying out her skin, it acts as a moisturiser as well for her bottom which is soft after using the ointment after only a few days.

The easy to use flip cap on the tube is perfect for those middle of the night changes when you don’t have all your wits about you and only have one hand free!

#BepanthenBedtimeChallenge

My overall thoughts on Bepanthen is that it does help to prevent nappy rash, very pleasant to use with a non-sticky formula, helps keep baby’s bottom lovely and soft and I think it’s fantastic that it contains no hidden nasties and safe to use at each nappy change.

  1. I completely agree with you on the Child’s Farm Bubble Bath – we are also huge fans of it in our house. The smell is amazing isn’t it?

I remember Bepanthen well from when my boys were little. It was the only thing that cleared up their nappy rashes properly!

Thank you for linking up to #KCACOLS and I hope to see you back again on Sunday x

  2. I love childs farm products! The towel is too cute!A good routine is ideal, especially before bed. We are a long way from the nappy changes, I’m glad to say! Those days are firmly in the past #kcacols

    1. Childs Farm products are just great! Routine is everything in our house otherwise i’d get lost and overwhelmed! Thanks for stopping by x

  3. Bepanthen is great for baby’s bottoms, and incidentally, for healing tattoo’s too! ???? Your bedtime is like ours although we bath every other night and he comes downstairs after bath for milk and a biscuit, while we watch ITNG, then story in bed. #KCACOLS
